I am creation.
I have been curating experiences from a young age.
I have been observing my communities and responding with whatever tools I have at the moment, instinctively.
I use entertainment to prompt unity amongst my peers.
As I’m learning more about myself, I am forming new ways to serve my community better.
I employ the identity of Black + Queer in my work because that’s what I have the most access too.
Importantly, when I use the terms ‘Black’ and ‘Queer’,
I mean it in the most philosophical way.
What does Blackness and Queerness look like in wealth or food or the future etc., where can that take my imagination?
This is usually my starting point and all my work flows from there.
I use my gift of perspective to help artists reach their highest potential. I believe facilitating a space for my peers to flourish creatively brings us all closer to divinity.
A passion of mine is supporting creatives through the process until the final product is exactly how they envisioned. I’m invested projects that I truly believe in, because I know that the work will have a greater ripple effect on world.
Creating opportunities for others through support is a requirement for contentment and success.
I want my audience to feel like my work is their work. I want them to feel like in some way they were a part of this process, that their presence filtered it-self through the air and landed in my inspiration.
